Huge thank you to everyone who attended the 2024 UDA Gala, and made it such a special event.
Celebrations focused on creativity, innovation, and the incredible contributions of the urban design community in NSW.
The highlights of the evening included:
Keynote speaker Elizabeth Watson-Brown talking about the pressure Australian urban environments are under to grow rapidly but in a manner that ensures a high quality of life for their inhabitants.
Helen Lochhead and Peter John Cantrill receiving the Lifetime Contributions Award for their contributions to urban design.
Student award winners, Abeer Dajani from UTS, and Kahlia Rae and Fahmad Fariz Al Hazmi from the University of Sydney being acknowledged for their achievements throughout their tertiary studies.
The Corso in Manly winning the NSW Favourite Urban Place poll for favourite pedestrian street in NSW. Congratulations to the Northern Beaches Council.
