NSW's Favourite Urban Place

Congratulations to The Corso in Manly

NSW’s Favourite Pedestrian City Street!

The Manly Corso was originally a boardwalk connecting the harbour pier to Manly beach. Lined with surf shops, pubs, cafes and galleries this pedestrian mall is famous for its street entertainment and remains the focal point of Manly, loved by all from locals to visitors from around the world.

NSW’s Favourite Urban Place 2024: Pedestrian City Streets

NSW's Favourite Urban Place is a fun, friendly poll where you can vote for the places you enjoy. It’s your chance to celebrate the everyday places you love—where you shop, eat, relax, and connect.

We want to hear from everyone, and shine a spotlight on the vibrant, social spaces that make our neighbourhoods special.

This year we focused on the streets that are mostly for people (with limited, or no access to cars), which are lined with shops and activities, which have places to sit and play, and which are enjoyable to use and visit.
